Wading after the Rain

Folks……………

Rest assured, rainwater is good for the salinity in Galveston Bay. Enough is enough, over 15 inches in parts of the system recently. Runoff for weeks to come………………..
San Jancinto and Trinity rivers are running well above normal limits.

Recents days have been really outstanding in spec’s to 25 inches. This happening all on top water. Doesn’t get any better folks…………….

Fish are held close to the grass and shoreline. Rising and falling pressure are answers to awesome production. Heavy rains off the coast are responsible. Keeping the water temp and salinity just perfect.

Dickinson and April Fool area are the spots used by this writer. However, as I type, frestwater running all over the great spots as of 600pm tonight.
Really stinks like frest water. runoff from Dickinson Bayou will move ‘em near Dollar and east……………………
Water temp dropped some 5-7 degrees. Left tonight with 80 degrees temp. This pattern is changing daily. That’s why guides are your best source for current conditions.

Best bait was top water Super spooks or He and She Dogs. Lots of noice for fish to focus and key on. Different noise levels make it awesome for those spec’s. When the winds pick up, use your biggest baits to attract those spec’s along with that frest water layered on top.

Colors have been bone, black and chartruse………………..

Today, Mr. Steven Kolaski, enjoyed such a time. He left ‘em biting. Several in the 23-25 inch range, all on top…………….

There were a couple of 25 inch fish that were released………………..
God bless
