Guys and Gals
These pacific and canada cold fronts are really blessings. Sure, they are bitter cold, wet and wild.
However, on the second day after one, fishing seems to pick up, due in part to fresh water(oxygen), lower tides and calming seas. Lower tides concentrates spec’s and redfish near deeper water. After the sunrise, fish will travel to shallow water to find food and you then can be part of their solutions………
Areas that are truely productive each year. To name a few are Offitts Bayou, Chacolate Bayou and Burnett Bay with Scott’s as well,up near the Jancinto Monument.
Make use of soft plastic Assassins or paddle tail baits from Stanley or your favorite………………….
Color are plum, chartruse, and glow. Mix your colors as well. Slow retreive on or near the bottom.
Really guys and gals, it’s great to fish this time of year. your safety first for wind protection and layer up for the day.
Recent water temp was 58 degrees yesterday. Should drop in the low 50’s…………..
Wait a day for the sun to heat the shallow waters and try these areas.
Happy Thanksgiving to your families……………….
God bless
