Recent trip to East Bay has cause to keep your eyes closely on the surface.

Should you want to run the shorlines, both north and south, stay in 4-5 feet of water. Shut down and idle in to the places wanting to drift or wade.

Lots of stuff showing as well.

Great numbers of speckled trout to 24 inches near Marsch Pt and Big Pasture. Water temp is near 63 degrees. Clarity is good.

Top water good near noon to dark in either black or chartruse. Super spook or She Pup. Assassins in plum or limetruse.

Using 6′6″ FTU GREEN ROD…………..great action in XL
Also, green line called Sufix braid, 30 lb test, awesome for that sensitive bite.

Tides are 1-2 low this time of year. Should return to 2 later this week.

Last two days, bites been afternoon till dark……………

See you on the water

god bless

Guys………………………..

It’s that time to fish early and before noon…………………..

Recent tides have been slack and only one daily. Better to go before daylight. Be careful of objects and pipestands in your way. Winds are down under 15mph.

Speckled trout and redfish holding at the Big Separator and behind marker 72 near the new island. Close near the rocks. In East Bay at Deep or Richards Reef.

Birds are holding near Atkinson Is. early. Best bet is 3/8 lead near the wells or on the boittom. Work ‘em slow. Try not to catch the bottom.

Colors are limetruse, glow or pearl. Either Assassins, Norton or Gulp.
Water temp is near 90 degrees……………….

Crockers are working near Redfish Is and Todds Dump……………..
Lot s of small spec’s to 18 inches.

More soon……………

god bless
