Recent days fishing in Galveston, have produced limits of redfish in the slot as well as oversize and several undersized………………….
That Gulp really at this time of year, has simply recharged these fish. They are extremely aggressive at the initial strike.
You may choose any number of bait selections, New penney shrimp, moulten shrimp, both in the 3″, Shad colors are electric chicken or neon pepper.
Try using 1/8 lead. Seems to stay in the strike zone, near the grass shorelines……………..Key is scattered small mullet or slickin……………
Been using Sufix line. Either 20 or 30 lb test is great for those stubborn reds.
Recent groups including Cade Stapleton and family and Frank Murdock, took redfish on the half-shell home for tablefare…..
