Transportation Workers Identification Certificate.
TWIC.com is for all transportation workers that will come in contact with ports of our United States, as well as anyone holding Coast Guard approved Identification.
See more info @ it’s web page.It’s my understanding that myself and all saltwater guides will be required to have this document. Walk-in’s and appt. are accepted @ four area ports of call.
I have applied for these documents last week, paying the fee of $132.50 as well as giving my fingerprints and background to TWIC.
Issue of the card is expected in 6-8 weeks.
