East Bay

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAUL.

Now for a fishing report. Fished late yesterday (4pm to 8pm) with two young men. One was my son. We fished a mid bay reef in East Bay. Ended up with sixteen trout from 16in to 20in. My son Jeremy and his friend Brandon fished the same reef the day before (late afternoon) and caught 17 trout.

This time of year, you folks need take full advantage of early morning wading. Leaving the dock around 400am,returnig around 11 to noon.

Tides are back to near normal. Moving in either direction is excellent. Top water selections are the She Pup and Baby Super Spook. Colors are black, chartruse, and pearl.

Areas in West is Confederate, 8 Mile, and Cambell’s. Areas in East is Hog Pins, Seivers, Fat Rat and Marsch Pt.

Fish holding near the grass and bayou’s and drains. Movement is slow, stop and start ‘em.
